Recent recipe change

All my cats loved this food and it was ok for my cat with a sensitive tummy. Unfortunately they have now changed the recipe and they all turned their noses up at it. I really wish pet food companies wouldn't do this, I'd rather have paid more for it than have to try and find a new product.

What a shame and what a pain

I've been using it for years and I completely agree with the previous comments, it's gotten worse, it's like waste now and I have to sift it because my cats don't want that powdery stuff. One of them barely eats and goes around the house begging for food, so clearly the formula isn't the same either. Honestly, it's a pain because now I have to look for another one.

Recipe changed, major allergy

My cat has terrible allergies with kibble, and with Purizon I’d almost found a solution—her symptoms were nearly gone. But lately, the allergies have come back strong, and now I’m seeing reviews saying the recipe has changed. Even my vet said these were good kibbles, and he doesn’t even sell them! Absolutely rubbish. Well, bye bye Purizon.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined

Both my cats have loved eating Purizon for years, and I’ve always been very satisfied. However, in the last few bags, I’ve noticed there’s a lot of food dust and small crumbs inside. This means a lot of bits are left in the bowl at the end, which my cats can’t eat anymore. Also, the packaging has changed. There used to be a handy resealable closure, but unfortunately that’s been removed. Because of this, it’s less convenient now.

Profit comes first!

Indeed, the packaging has changed and the kibble isn’t like it used to be—the quality has gone down. We chose this brand because one of our three cats has delicate health, and now the manufacturer has gone over to the dark side by using meat proteins instead of fresh meat, along with other ingredients that just aren’t suitable for animal food. Since when do animals have to eat cereals?????

It's not the same anymore

They’ve changed the formula for all the varieties. My chubby little one used to love it—his daily portions were scheduled with the automatic feeder, and he’d sit and wait a few minutes before the next serving. It worked well for him; he gradually lost weight. Now, he has leftover kibble piling up, he’s losing weight but not happily. Plus, the croquettes are really powdery, full of tiny bits he won’t eat, they break apart in the feeder and you end up wasting a lot. The same thing happened with the fish variety.

Quality too hit and miss

Like Polina and Kévin, who wrote the previous reviews, I regret the noticeably lower—or even non-existent—quality when the packet doesn’t have a zip. Two different manufacturing sites, with ingredients from different sources?!! I have five cats, one of them 18 years old, and at least three of them have had diarrhoea and hair loss. I stopped immediately and bought locally, no transition—what’s the point?! I’m angry, because the price hasn’t gone down, but that’s it for Purizon!

They've changed the formula.

I’d been using this cat food for years, but now they’ve changed the formula or something and my cats won’t even go near it. Looks like I’ll have to switch brands.
