Product description

Ergonomic plastic pet crate for cats and small dogs. Completely removable top plus front and back opening. With care and storage hatches. Use car seat belt to secure. Colour: Grey

Please note: This product might take a little longer to arrive as it may be shipped from outside the UK.

The key advantage of this transport box is that the top section can be completely removed, whilst it is also possible to open it from either the front or the back. Two lift-up doors, one either side allow you to easily get your pet into the carrier, or take them out.
Practical anchor mechanisms for standard three-point seatbelts make it easy to strap the crate into your car, and mean that your pet can be transported quite securely on the passenger seat or back seat.

Ventilation grilles in the top and bottom sections of the carrier allow for air movement and keep your cat or dog from getting too hot when they are being transported inside the box.
The lockable care hatch in the top of the box is an innovative addition to this pet carrier. You can use the care hatch to give your pet a treat or a reassuring stroke during a long wait at the vet’s or on a journey. The compartment opposite the care hatch can be used to store pet essentials such as treats or leads.

Secure click-lock fastenings and a sturdy integrated carry-handle ensure that the pet crate is easy to transport.
Plastic pet carriers are easy to keep clean and hygienic, making them a perfect alternative to fabric carriers. Its ergonomic design makes the Nobby Avior excellently suited to carrying cats, small dogs, and even rabbits or guinea pigs.

How to choose a cat carrier:
Choose a carrier based on your cat's adult size. The carrier should be high enough to allow the cat to stand up, and wide enough for it to lie down and turn around comfortably.
Allow your pet some time to get used to being transported in the pet carrier. Gently accustom your pet to the carrier by simply allowing it to spend time inside with the door open. Once your pet is used to the box, you can close the door with your pet inside and leave it for a short while, and then gradually increase the time spent with the door closed. Try to take short test drives in the car at first before undertaking any long journeys. The carrier should never be used as a punishment but rather be seen by your pet as a safe, positive place.

Cat carrier
I bought this due to it having a front opening door to make it easier to put my cat in to take to the vets. While in principle this carrier is a fantastic idea I found this particular carrier poor quality with catches that are hard to fasten properly due to the hatch not lining up properly upon closing. I don't feel my cat is safe while in this carrier as I fear the clips will open due to the inferior quality. Disappointed with this particular carrier though in principle a great concept.

LOVE THIS CARRIER
This carrier is great, it took me all of a few minutes to put it together, really strong, i put my big siamese bengal x in it he weighes over 12lb in weight. I love the design and it is a strong carrier. It is easy to put your pet in and due to its shape i can hold it in my arms close to me and not have to carry it at my side. I recommend this item.

Great for larger cats, particularly those who hate cat carriers!
I am owned by 2 Maine Coon Cats who are one year old but already much bigger than the average sized cat. These are fantastic as the large opening allows you to lift your cat into the carrier without having to try and ram them in a small opening that they definitely do not want to go in! When you first get the carrier it is important to set it up correctly and make sure that the lid sits in the little clips on the side. It is made from plastic and you need to help it form into the correct shape. If you do this you will have no trouble closing the lid. I also keep mine closed when not in use and this ensures that when I do come to use it, I have no trouble. The largest Maine Coon is 6.5 Kilos and he fits in fine and I do not worry about the carrier coming apart when I take him to the vets. I just check all the clips are in place and closed before lifting. I was so happy with the first that I bought a second one and am equally as happy. If you have cats who hate cat carriers then this is definitely worth considering buying.

Brilliant
We bought this after seeing a recommendation in Your Cat magazine. Our larger cat hates going to the vet and we wanted to make it as comfortable for him as possible. One of the ends lifts right up and was really easy to put him in with less stress than in other carriers. There is also a hole at the top so you can comfort your cat during the journey. We will buy another one for our other cat.

Nobby Avior Pet Carrier
This would be the perfect cat carrier if the flaps located more accurately and the clasps were more robust. The whole top of the carrier can be removed for access and that is the big advantage of the carrier but this also means that the carrier hangs from these clasps when lifted so make sure they are really well snapped into place. We have put a luggage strap around ours as extra security and would not use it without it - the front flap still opens wide to give plenty of room for reluctant cat extraction!
