The recipe of this stew is specially formulated using chicken and vegetables to support the urinary tract and reduce the risk of urinary crystals and stones developing.
This dietetic Hill’s Prescription Diet Canine c/d Urinary Care Stew – Chicken wet dog food contains a reduced content of calcium, magnesium and vitamin D, all of which can help to form the building blocks of urinary stones. This wet dog food with chicken also has urine-alkalising properties that can help to create an inhospitable environment for crystal formation. The dietetic dish has urine undersaturating properties in relation to struvite and can help with the breakdown of struvite stones as well as reducing the risk of reoccurrence.
