Adult medium-sized breed dogs (11 - 25 kg) with a tendency to weight gain need a food that is low in calories, but still contains all of the essential nutrients and vitamins for good health. Royal Canin Medium Sterilised is high in good quality protein and low in fat, and it also contains L-carnitine which can boost their fat burning capacity and help to get rid of excess weight. The special recipe helps your dog to feel fuller for longer, so that it does not over-eat.

Excellent results
My two sheltie girls love this food and after the vet saying both had to lose 3kg, after three weeks there has been a nudge in the right direction to the weight coming down.
Spaying made them gain weight despite the three mile daily walks I given them. My boy sheltie has a high metabolic rate so burns his fat off and can eat normal adult Royal Canin.
Royal Canin is a top product.

Good but...
We bought this kibble for our neutered Spitz and in terms of size the kibble is quite good because he chews them, rather than swallowing them. He has a nice coat, and hasn't put on weight, but his stool is a bit runny. We'll finish the 12kg pack and see if the problem persists (if it does, we'llchange brand)

Accepted!
Just changed my dogs food from RC Medium Junior to RC Médium Adult sterilised: she really likes it, whereas she used to turn her nose up at the Junior. The kibble pieces are about three times as big as the Junior, but she's having no problems with eating it.

Very good product
I was afraid that my lady dog would put on weight after she was neutered but with this food we haven't seen any weight gain, what's more she loves them and never leaves any. Perfect product!

Excellent!
Excellent dry food for my very active (sterilised) Breton spaniel! He loves this stuff, and I occasionally mix in a bit of meat for variety. Good quality at a good price!

My little darling adores this food. It's healthy and balanced, so my dog is in perfect shape. I would recommend!!
