Hill's Prescription Diet Feline c/d Multicare Urinary Care - Chicken pouches have been developed to support urinary tract health in adult cats. This delicious wet food works to address four of the most common causes of FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease), a complex disease of the lower urinary tract that often leads to the formation of painful crystals.
The two most frequent types of bladder stones are struvite and calcium phosphate, and these often come from an unbalanced level of minerals such as magnesium, ammonium, and phosphorus. Another cause is an alkaline urine pH, which this food corrects with urine-acidifying substances. By limiting the mineral content, this wet food also works to lessen the risk of recurrence.
