I fitted the gate fine, and it is surely strong and impressive. However, the through hole fittings and wall screws are hopeless. The heads snapped off the through hole fittings. Too much hassle to send back, and I needed the gate up quickly, so I improvised by tapping threads through the holes to fasten the two halves of the gate together and put bolts through them. Obviously this meant stripping the protective paint in the holes, but I have sprayed rust barrier protection on them.

We've had this gate installed outside for more than a year and it's still great! It's the perfect garden gate for us! We immediately covered any unused boreholes with a protective lacquer to prevent rusting - and there's still no traces of rust. We would definitely buy this barrier again!

...we are really pleased with this Outdoor Dog Barrier, we have it in our hall for our front door. When it's open you barely notice it and you have lots of free space.

We spent a long time looking for a cheap and simple solution to block off an area with a width of 1.4m. This gate is a fantastic solution. Easy to assemble, easy to use and if it's no longer needed, easy to remove without major damage. Also great quality for the price. I would definitely recommend it.
