Hill's Prescription Diet a/d Canine Restorative Care with Chicken

My poor dog has become very ill with Anemia and has been losing a lot of weight. She has become very picky about what she eats, my vet suggested that i try this, so i bought some from her. I did manage to get my girl to eat this but it costs a fortune from the vets. After investigation i found that Bitiba were the cheapest by far. My only gripe was that when this product was sent to me, 24 cans were just put in a box with one sheet of thin polythene which meant that my tins were dented.

Our tomcat was ill and stopped eating. The vet gave us this, and we were able to feed it to him with a syringe. After a day, he even started licking it on his own. I just find it a bit strange that it's also suitable for dogs. But well, it's not a complete food and isn't meant to be given long-term, so I suppose it's not that bad.
