My dog has been getting this food for 8 years. In that time we have tried other specially made kidney food, but always went back to the Royal Canin. It's tasty, her blood levels are great, and her 'output' is normal.

My dog has a tendency to develop kidney problems, which is why I include this food in his diet. It's the only dry food that agrees with him and produces good stools. He doesn't drink a lot, which he does with some other dry food we've tried, and seems to enjoy eating it.

My dog loves this food, never refuses it which I am grateful for has he's allergic to such a lot.plus it's slowed his kidney problem down.

Advised to put my 12( nearly 13 ) year old black lab on this food as he has stage one kidney failure as well as other health issues, bad arthritis and Addison’s disease. His kidney function has improved greatly, in fact back to normal, I have been told by my vet that it is undoubtedly prolonging my gorgeous boy’s life. I’m very happy , its worth every penny!

My 12 year old dog has stage 1 kidney failure and this food has proved a great success. No problems in changing his diet either as he loves this. Good price and delivery as well.

This has been excellent for my little Yorkie's health. With this food that is tailor made for her health problems she is in great shape. And I can get it here at a better price, with neat and speedy delivery. I would recommend it.

My dog loves this kibble, he has to eat it due to his illness... renal dysplasia. Best of all, it's much cheaper on here than at my vet's office

A year ago, my then 2 year old lab, was diagnosed with kidney failure. One kidney had never developed and her remaining one was only a third in size of what it should be. Vet said she had approx 6 months to live. He advised to change food to RC renal & no treats. She has been on this food since & a year has passed and our girl is still with us, absolutely full of life & energy. I have every faith in this product and am sure it is prolonging her life. :-)

Hatton has Addisons disease which means his kidneys do not function properly. Bless him he became skin and bone but now, eight months later, he is a healthy looking, solid, well covered dog he always was and he loves the food

I feel this dog food has prolonged the life of my dog. He was diagnosed with Renal failure a year and a half ago. The vet said that to put this powder in his food to take out the phosphate or to put him on a special diet. The vet recommended the dog as its was lower phosphate than the powder. He has been on it for a yesr and a half and to be quite honest, I have seen a huge change in him. He is full of life (he's 11) and he eats well and the symptons that he has with renal failure decreased and he seems like a healthy, happy dog.

My 6yr old Lhasa Apso bitch had been suffering from colitis for some months. She was very unhappy, had lost a lot of weight and had repeated courses of antibiotics and steroids from the vets. Eventually my vet suggested the Royal Canin Hypoallergenic food. She has now been on this for a few months and has a new lease of life! I am delighted. Yes, the food is quite expensive, but not as expensive repeated vets bills! Plus my dog is happy again!

After 3 months on Royal Canin Renal food our 11 year old labrador's kidney function had improved so much that she doesn't need any medication. This makes it an excellent product and well worth 4x the cost of her previous food. Bitiba's deal on 2 x 14kg bags is the best I've found.

Following vets advice have used one bag of this product so far for my 13 year old collie. The levels of creatinine and phosphorus were of concern and have now improved to be at the high end of normal. She will be on this food now permanently but it is working well and will hopefully keep my old girl going a bit longer

The only food that suits my little boxer who has renal problems. Easy to digest and appetizing.
