Adores it

My cat prefers lights toys to any other type, loves shadows and reflections far more than anything you can dangle or swing in front of him. He prefers this one to the red dot type. Maybe due to the blueish white colour. He comes looking for me to use it in play. I do try and convince him to play with other toys so that he has something to catch but he just prefers light toys.

Not what I expected!

The torch shines the same image as the picture on the side. This means the fish gets larger the further you shine it away...but you can't go too far before it disappears! The battery life is quite low too.

One of his favourite toys

Do not underestimate this little toy. A fun fish shaped light which my cat absolutely loves chasing. Great to keep kitty fit

Not for me

Admittedly I'm a cat who prefers to play with string toys. I didn't want to play with this laser toy at all. The laser shape is quite a large fish shape, especially when shone across the other side of the room. Not for me.

Good

Shines a bit dim during the day. It would have been more visible if it shone red.

toy

The idea is brilliant... my cat goes crazy for it and keeps pestering me to turn it on, but it absolutely eats through batteries. After putting in 3 new batteries, it only really works for a few minutes—lasting hours is just wishful thinking, maybe only on paper. 3 batteries cost about 9 PLN, just for a few minutes of play. Well, I guess it’s the most expensive toy in the world.

Dim light

The light is so weak that you can barely see anything.
