The feather moves too fast so they stare at it for 5 minutes and that was it. They manage to catch the feather but because they can’t take it out, it is frustrating for them. This would be a great toy if you could vary the speed and take the feather out. Not worth it as it is. After two days they were bored.

I too had trouble finding the on switch, but found it eventually. It spins much too quickly, so just gets looked at. The feather has been decimated already, as S found if you tip it up sideways you can pull the feather off. Mind you, it was short term fun for a few days.

Useless as I cannot get the back off to put the batteries in.

Tried this with brand new batteries and it still won't work. There is no on button either. Waste of money

The toy is a great idea but it spins too fast. My cats looked at it very interested for a couple of minutes but they can’t really catch anything and the speed doesn’t vary. It would be great if they feather stopped for a few seconds so they can smell it and bite it for a bit and before start spinning again.

We have 10 cats ranging in age from 14 years to 5 months and they all love this toy. It keeps them amused and wears them out. Simple idea a spinning feather inside a box with paw sized holes. The feathers poke out of the side to encourage curiosity and then it spins round. The cats then try and "get it" with their paws. Can see it's going to cost us a fortune in batteries!!

I bought two of these as we have 12 cats to entertain. I can honestly say they have all shown a lot of interest in it. Several of the cats actively sit and wait for it to be swtched on. It spins in a random way, and mimics how prey would move i guess. I would recommend.
