I don't think they really bounce very well - they can't because of the fabric exterior, but it's a good thing because they're actually rather heavy and dense. If they were more bouncy, they could cause some damage. And I really don't like the way the barbed nylon tag fasteners which hold them onto the backing card seem to have one end embedded straight into the ball! You have to cut them really closely against the fabric or they leave quite sharp little spikes poking out. Kitten enjoys at least.
