It arrives unassembled. Putting hinges on not too bad. They are plastic and will have to bend continuously when in use; so I'm not sure if they would last. It's trying to attach the solid plastic handle to the lid that's caused me to be extremely disappointed in this cat carrier. There's no way I can attach the carry handle. The shoulder strap is just a length of black webbing, no stoppers or attachments to stop it undoing. I wouldn't trust it to hold a cat safely. Will be returning for refund!
